Koda The Frenchie’s Paws of Approval

  • Kimpton Wag Robs!

Koda is so excited to have received this plush dog rob in the mail. It will be featured on our next Kimpton stay.

  • Kimpton Sawyer Sacremento, CA

OMG, humans! The Kimpton Sawyer is AMAZING for us four-legged guests! They welcomed me with custom blue berry treats at the front desk (I ate them immediately, obviously). My humans got a comfy room, but I was more excited about sunning on the sofa watching the pool views.

The staff kept giving me belly rubs and saying "good boy" - they clearly understand quality service. The lobby has great sniffing opportunities, and the outdoor areas are perfect for my... business meetings.

No extra fees for bringing me along! This place gets it - dogs make everything better!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • Kimpton Hotel Vintage, Seattle WA

Snort Snort! The Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle is tail-waggingly fantastic! They welcomed me like I was the most important guest (which I obviously am). The humans loved their wine-themed room, but I was busy inspecting my complimentary dog bed and treats.

Pike Place Market is just a short walk away - SO many amazing smells! The hotel staff kept sneaking me extra pets and head rubs. The doorman even knew my name by day two!

Rain? No problem - they had towels ready for my muddy paws. Plus, no pet fees means more money for my humans to buy me treats at the market!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • Kimpton La Peer Hotel, Los Angeles, CA

Snort! The Kimpton La Peer Hotel made me feel like a celebrity pooch in West Hollywood! The moment we arrived, they rolled out the red carpet treatment with gourmet dog treats and the fluffiest bed I've ever seen.

The pool area has amazing people-watching opportunities (and dropped snacks). My humans loved the chic rooms, but I was obsessed with the floor-to-ceiling windows - perfect for judging every passerby on the street below.

Walking to the trendy cafés nearby meant endless pets from stylish humans who clearly recognized my star quality. The valet even remembered my name and gave me special attention!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco by IHG

Woof! The InterContinental Mark Hopkins made me feel like the king of Nob Hill! From our room high up in this fancy tower, I could see the entire bay - perfect for watching seagulls from 19 floors up.

The doormen in their fancy uniforms gave me royal treatment, and the marble lobby echoes made my snorts sound extra important.

The Top of the Mark lounge has incredible views, though they wouldn't let me sample the cocktails (rude!). Cable car rides down the steep hills were thrilling - so many new smells rushing by!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • Lake Tahoe, CA

WOOF! Lake Tahoe in winter is a doggy wonderland! So much SNOW everywhere - I can't stop zooming around like a furry snowplow! My humans brought me special booties, but honestly, I prefer the cold snow between my toe beans.

The lake is this amazing frozen blue color that makes my humans go "ooooh" a lot. I'm more interested in catching snowflakes with my tongue and digging holes in the white fluffy stuff. Every stick is now a snow-covered treasure!

My humans went skiing while I got cozy by the fireplace at our cabin, but the BEST part was our snowy hikes together. I looked so majestic with snow on my fur - basically a wolf! Plus, all this cold weather means extra cuddles at night.

Winter Tahoe = infinite zoomies and belly rubs by the fire!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • MGM Signature, Las Vegas, NV

Snort Snort! Vegas is like one giant dog park with flashing lights! I hit the jackpot just walking down the Strip - so many dropped snacks, it's like the slots but for FOOD!

My humans were obsessed with those noisy machines, but I found the real treasure - endless dropped chips on casino floors (apparently they're not edible, who knew?). The buffets smell AMAZING, though I had to practice my "innocent puppy" look when security wasn't watching.

Stayed at the dog-friendly MGM Signature where even the bellhops knew how to scratch behind my ears just right. The fountain shows at Bellagio were cool, but honestly, any water feature is just an oversized drinking bowl to me.

My luck was incredible - free pets from strangers, found a whole hot dog under a blackjack table, and won my humans' hearts (again). What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... except all these new smells on my fur!

Rating: 5 out of 5 lucky Paws of Approval!

  • The Allegro, Chicago, IL

Woof! The Hotel Allegro Chicago is music to my ears! This artsy downtown hotel welcomed me like I was headlining at the Chicago Theatre next door. Literally they drew me!

The colorful, musical-themed décor confused my humans, but I was busy investigating my VIP dog bed and gourmet welcome treats. The lobby has amazing acoustics for my victory barks when strangers give me attention (which is constantly, obviously).

Lake Michigan is perfect for epic fetch sessions, and Millennium Park has SO many pigeons to chase! The hotel staff even gave my humans restaurant recommendations that allow four-legged VIPs like myself.

Deep dish pizza smells incredible from every corner, though my humans were stingy about sharing. The wind downtown makes my ears flap dramatically - I look like a furry superhero! Plus, those Chicago fire hydrants are top-tier sniffing material.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws of Approval!

  • Kimpton Hotel Vintage, Portland, OR

Woof! The Kimpton Vintage Portland is totally pawsome! This downtown hotel got me excited from the moment they offered welcome treats - apparently I have excellent taste in accommodations.

My humans loved their wine-themed room, but I was more interested in exploring Pioneer Square right outside our door. SO many food carts nearby, and Portland humans are super friendly about giving random dogs pets and belly rubs!

The hotel's eco-friendly vibe means they understand what's really important - like providing soft dog beds and understanding that I'm clearly the most important guest. The staff kept saying "good boy" which proves they're very smart people.

Powell's Books was fun to sniff around, and the waterfront walks were perfect for my daily business meetings. Plus, no pet fees means more treats for me!
